CPR / AED

Every 2 years
Provider: American Heart Association or equivalent
Must be current before the start of each patrol season.
Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC)
Required — All Patrollers
Every 3 years
Provider: Afton Alps Ski Patrol
OEC refresher courses are offered each fall. Check the schedule for dates.
Toboggan Handling
Required — All Patrollers
Annual sign-off
Provider: Afton Alps Ski Patrol
Annual on-hill skills evaluation conducted by senior patrollers.
